The Anne Macdonald Educator o f the Year award is named after a prominent North Shore educator who passed away in 1993. Macdonald did a great deal for the arts as a founder, president and executive director of the North Vancouver Arts C o u n c i l , as well as being active in the formation of the Provincial Arts Education Council.
