What was just an idea in 1987 started to become a reality in 1990 when the members of the North Shore Needle Arts began working on a project that would pay tribute to the beautiful surroundings of the North Shore. Five years later, the work of over 90 members of the group has resulted in four framed panels titled "North Shore Reflections" which together measure over 10 ft. wide and five ft. in length. Each panel is individually framed represented, as are most of the wellknown landmarks, activities and flora and fauna found on the North Shore. North Shore Needle Arts will retain ownership of these works, but it is hoped the panels will be circulated for long-term viewing at different venues.
