NORTH VANCOUVER ARTS COUNCIL ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS! This 21st year of the North Vancouver Community Arts Council, coinciding with the District Centennial Year and the B.C. Festival of the Arts in May, 1991 makes for an exciting and busy time ahead. Examples of some of the wonderful and interesting opportunities that exist with the North Vancouver Arts Council are: Picture Loan and Art In Public Places Committees needpeople to help select and hang paintings and interact with the artist and handle administrative work. The P.R. Committee would welcome vol unteers with expertise in graphic and News letter production. To assist the Hospitality Committee at various openings and events. General Office assistance is also needed several afternoons a week and also volun teers to assist with telephoning, which could be done from home. PROGRAMS District Hall 333 West Queens North Vancouver Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 TO BE ANNOUNCED There is a PUBLIC RECEPTION and OPENING of CITY HALL SHOWS on the first Thursday night of the show at 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Come and meet the artists. a qualified juror. There are watercolours, oils, acrylics, drawings and prints - all framed and ready to hang. These paintings by Lower Mainland artists, some large, some small, cover a wide range of subjects and styles. Rental costs is 2% of artists value per month (average $4 - $5).
