Top Picture Pictures submitted by Eula (Paterson) Konoski. The top photo has her father standing in the doorway of his electrical store, West Van Electric. The family lived upstairs and at the rear of the store. There was a lumber yard on one side and Mr. Simpson lived on the other side. Note the wooden sidewalk. Second Picture This was taken in the late 30's or early 40's. The West Van News was in one half and Fashion Furs was in the other half. Note the addition of a chimney upstairs and a paved Marine Drive Third Picture This photo of Tite's Shoe Store is of the late 30's or early 40's.
