We've been in our new home at the Senior Centre for two months now and seem to be settling in famously. I'm thrilled with the high ceilings, spacious room and the comfortable chairs! Our financial committee is ironing out all the myriad details involved with running a club this size. Thank-you and kudos to Patricia Windsor, Christine Mullins, Alan nah Haynes and Norm Vipond for stepping up to the plate and filling Victor's huge shoes in his absence. (The gap is huge, not Victor's show size. Sorry Victor!) I wish him a quick recovery and thank him for his continued availability and help to the committee. Even though our library is unavailable at the moment, our unfailingly loyal library committee is working behind the scenes to hold on to our books and periodicals. Thanks to Dawna Coady, Betty Differs, Sachiyo Grossman and Carolyn Thorpe for your unflagging devotion in keeping our library alive. There's just one more meeting before our Christmas party. Thanks to Cathy Roddie, the celebration is shaping up to be a "doozie".
