Unfortunately 6 members passed away during this term. We close the year with 241 members. (22 members did not renew the previous year for various reasons.) Members who have not yet renewed are now delinquent. Unpaid dues must be mailed to th Cathy Roddie by July 10 if you are planning to show during Harmony Arts or the Annual Fine Art Sale. The database will be cleared of all records for members who are not in good standing. This wipes out attendance records and therefore your attendance credits and qualification to show in the Annual Fine Art Sale. Send your cheque NOW and avoid disappointment. Please sign in clearly so we can read your name. Accomplishments this year: Expanded Membership Committee to handle the increased volumes and lighten the workload for the Membership Director. Eliminated paper roster and now use roster on-line where the data is automatically kept current. Put the Volunteer roster on the website where it is kept current with new volunteers joining committees. Team Captains can now be responsible for keeping their team lists up to date either on-line or speaking with our new Membership Director. Track volunteer interests on the database now. Makes finding new board members and other volunteers for jobs much easier. Track Board and Committee Head volunteers on the database now to help determine Jesse Faunt Award nominees. - Wanda Doyle, outgoing Membership Director, would like to acknowledge all the Membership Assistants who've given yet another year of dedicated service.
