Submitted b Frieda Ash worth fashzvorth@shaw.ca Workshops: Annual Report September 2007 June 2008 - Publicity Report: We have come a very long way since June, 2006 when I first took over the position of Publicity Director from Gordon Davis, After my first year, I called it a learning experience. After my second year, I can still call it a learning experience. I have met and talked to many interesting people in this time, both in the art world, the media, and our membership. We took on one of the most ambitious projects imaginable with the ANNUAL FINE ART SALE. The Publicity for this project was intense. My gratitude to all of you who helped me in achieving the publicity that we undertook. My thanks to Marguerite Mahy, Isabel Somerton, Karole Doucette and Iris Low, my Committee members who worked so well with production of posters, signs, banners, pamphlets and their distribution Karole Doucette will be taking over this position, and I know she will do a tremendous job for the Guild and receive the help from the Membership that she will need.
