New venue: WV Senior Centre Sept'08 Larry announced our new venue which will commence for our first meeting in September. Parking and transit accessibility were important. The activity Room at the WVSC is large, lovely, tall ceiling, has a sound system, great lighting, and they have a huge screen we can use. Parking is great and there is also underground parking. Cost is about the same as here and they insist on setting up the chairs and tables for us! There is, however, no storage for our gear so we'll have to change our approach. Our library team will have to come up with some ideas with what to do with our library for the near future. Our mirror (demo) table will hopefully be stored at Klee Wyk. Our membership materials will have to be brought to each meeting. The new night will be the 2 Wednesday of the month. Coffee is $1 (they make it, we serve it and we still bring our own cookies). More details to follow in the newsletter. We have a one year lease and hopefully this will be extended. -- -- P0 Box 91051 West Vancouvei B.
