MAY 2008 NEW$LETIER PAGE 3 Jurying The results of our May jurying have now been distributed. If by any chance you have not received yours, please let me know and I will get them to you. For our newer members, marks are out of a maximum of 8, 4 being the highest mark each juror can assign. The cut off for a painting to be accepted for this jurying was a total of 4.5. Previously it has been 4 and even 3 on one occasion. This is based on the number of shows being juried and the number of paintings required for those venues. The results of this jurying held some surprises for many of us. The statistics and graph, on pg. 8, should help explain why.
