Photo Project Elizabeth Gallant has volunteered to take on a photo project for the Guild. She will start compiling photographs of all members so that we can build a binder with images of all members, enabling us to recognize each other at shows and point out members to visitors. At the November Fine Art Sale, this was an issue when members and visitors were trying to locate members, and we didn't know what they looked like. We will also look into posting these for member viewing on the website. There are two ways to get your photo to Elizabeth: 1. Come to the monthly meeting and have your picture taken, either before the meeting or during the social break. 2. E-mail your photo to artgallant@shaw.ca. and put NSAG Photo in the subject line. All photos must be clear, recent head and shoulder shots only, in colour. If anyone would like to assist Elizabeth with photographing members during our meetings, please contact her directly. Roster There was overwhelming support for eliminating the professionally printed Roster. It becomes outdated so quickly. Almost 40 new members have joined since it was printed at the end of September. This change will save about $400.00 each year and save Membership a lot of administrative work in getting it ready for print. Members can now print an up to date copy of the roster from their computer. On our website menu, click on Club Roster, scroll down to the bottom and choose "Print Entire Roster". Choose Output Page Format, then select either to print in booklet form (large print) or letter size landscape columnar form. Click on download roster. Click Okay. Print. This, along with the website's regularly updated Volunteer Roster, will keep us current. If Team Captains need their Team List updated on the website, please contact Cathy Roddie. First Fridays We are about to begin our First Fridays series of solo or small group shows on the first Friday of a month at Klee Wyck. This was an idea that came from our last member survey, and so we are experimenting with it. More information is on the Home page of our Website www.nsartists.ca and in the Information for Members section for guidelines. To book a Friday, contact Larry Achtemichuk or Louise Goodman.
