Venue Heather Luccock Show Processes Edith · Jayne St. John mentioned that she and Larry had taken a lot of photos which will be put together on the website soon and possibly shown at a future meeting. Project Leader Jacquie Manning · Jacquie mentioned the issue of copyright infringement and reminded members that no more than 30% of a painting can come from another person's photograph or painting. · Jacquie also mentioned the communal nature of the show and the opportunity for members to reconnect and enjoy the day viewing the clubs work. · Jacquie asked for a show of hands as to whether the members would like to have another show of this type next year. There appeared to be overwhelmingly support for doing this. -- All reports and statistics will be detailed in the coming newsletter. Executive Proposal It was moved by Jacquie Manning, seconded by Marguerite Mahy that we discontinue doing mall shows for the time being. Some discussion occurred and Jacquie pointed out the reasons why mall shows do not make sense for us. Motion is carried. Marguerite Mahy mentioned that long time member and well known artist Elizabeth Smily is here tonight and is selling her biography for $20.00 signed by the artist. Nell Turner moved and Helen Ott seconded to adjourn. Demonstration followed.
