Sales Process and Greeters Thank you to the members who have volunteered to help handle sales and greeting visitors during the Annual Fine Arts Sale. I wifi be in touch soon regarding detailed procedures on how to handle sales. Volunteers for the sale are listed in the roster which you will have just received at the last meeting. It is up to date as of September 25th. In the roster, you'll find a time slot beside your name. If the time does not work for you, please let me know and I can make adjustments. Everyone who is selling their work at the show should have a list of their paintings with them. During the show, please determine where your paintings are hanging so you can retrieve them quickly at the end of the show. At 5pm, when you come to collect paintings, please check at the cashier's table to pick up any of your sold tags and receipts, which will be in alphabetical order by artist's last name. These, along with the paintings you pick up, should account for all your paintings. Art tags and receipts wifi need to be balanced to sales first, so please don't arrive early to pick these up. If you are certain you are missing a painting, please see Wanda and your missing painting will be marked on the painting list. Please note that while every effort is being made to ensure the security of your paintings, North Shore Artists' Guild cannot be responsible for lost paintings. We are still in need of volunteers for various jobs so if you believe you wifi have time during the day, please let Wanda know and she can find a job for you. We have notices appearing in every conceivable newspaper, periodical, magazine, bulletin, etc. that we could think of. · · · · · · · · · · · Shaw Cable TV is putting a couple of plugs in their news break North Shore News are giving us advance advertising with photos Outlook is giving us advance advertising with photos Preview Magazine is listing us in their calendar. We had paid advertising in their last edition. Bowen Island Undercurrent advertising CBC calendar notice Deep Cove Crier article West Ender notice in their Art Listings Community Digest Magazine article Arts & Life listing KVOS TV "On the Scene" · and the list can go on and on. We have 20 ground signs that will be placed around the Parkgate Shopping Centre and Community Centre the night before the event. There will be 7 signs placed in strategic spots designated throughout the District by the District of North Vancouver. Our Banner will be placed on the overpass at Park Royal. 120 posters will be placed from Deep Cove to Furry Creek 500 pamphlets and 350 bookmarks will be distributed by yourselves and our Publicity and Ticket Sales people.
