This is a very exciting event. In addition to the volunteer needs for our November show, please note we have other volunteer openings as well: a) Harmony Arts Captain to work with Heather Luccock and Marguerite Mahy b) Demo/Equipment Set up Assistant, at our monthly meetings, to be trained by Larry Achtemichuk c) Membership Director to be trained by Wanda Doyle I have made the difficult decision to resign from the Board due to my many other volunteer commitments and travel plans. I have very much enjoyed the job and hope I've made a contribution and leave the job in better shape than when I arrived. Thank you to the members who've passed on their feedback. The job is now much easier than it ever has been and will require someone with basic to average computer skills (and willingness to learn a few things), good organizational skills and the ability to be at most meetings. A detailed job description and to do list/schedule of activities is on our website. Keep in mind many of these jobs are delegated so the job is not too onerous, and other jobs, like writing the newsletter article, have a template for each month and require only updating. Supplies are set up for a few months ahead and the roster is going to be printed, so there is minimal work to be done initially, allowing for time to study up on the job. Time commitment is about 10 hours per month which includes executive meetings.
