Jean Bonvini is showing her oils March 9 to mid April at Delany's Coffee House, Park Royal th Frieda Ashworth has her art showing at Bauer's Framing, 16 and Bellevue, also a painting in the Human Body Show at the Federation Wanda Doyle has five of her paintings at Furry Creek Golf Course. She has 4 paintings in the Parkside Restaurant, Squamish, and 1 in Galileo Coffee House, Britannia Beach ii. Media Publicity Achievements banner will be up in May, 10 posters will be in the Blue Buses in May, 16 posters distributed and hung across the North Shore by Isabel, media has been contacted. Artist's Journal newsletter contacted us with regard to memberships for our members. Florence sent them an article to appear in their April newsletter May show will be called "Splash of Colour" Vice-President Edith Warner new members are encouraged to receive the newsletter by e e. mail jurying information will be in the newsletter f. Our bylaws stipulate that an exec position can last no longer than 2 years. This is to encourage new ideas, energy and sharing the work across more people. The Nominations Committee is made up of our Membership Director Wanda Doyle, Past President Lorne Topham, and Anne MacMahon. b. Discussion followed about frameless pictures, etc. Guideline is that framed pictures must have a 1 1/2 inch border. Wanda Doyle suggested the hanging committee be given permission to remove a painting from the show if three people agree the frame is in poor condition and not befitting our professional image.
