North Shore Artists' Guild (formerly West Vancouver Sketch Club) March 2007 Page 6 associated costs (Harmony Arts, Ferry Building, Library, and Silk Purse). From projected costs at year end exhibitions will lose about $1,500. Marketing: Last year marketing costs were $144, Because of a much greater effort to raise our profile we will have spent an additional $1,000 approx. However most of our expenses are less than the budgeted amounts and overall we will probably have a small shortfall of about $1,330, which is similar to last year. Cat(cforArtists To Exhibit at Laudate Singers Spring Concert, April 14, 2007 We have 13 people contributing to the Laudate Singers / North Shore Artists' Guild Concert / Show on April 14th, at St. Andrew's United Church, 1044 St. Georges Avenue, North Vancouver, there is room for more! This will be our second year of collaboration with Laudate Singers. The theme of the concert this year is "Canadian Landscape". There is space for about 20 paintings and we have been asked that they have a Canadian theme. The paintings will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. There will be no jurying of these paintings and it will it not be an official Artists' Guild event. If a painting sells a donation to Laudate Singers would be appreciated. When you participate in the show the ticket cost for the concert will be $10.00 and you can bring a spouse, partner, etc. for the same price. Please contact me with regard to entering this show by March 31. I will need your information for a price list by early April. Laudate Singers will give out the price list along with the program. Artists are invited to bring business cards to give out. Please submit bios, and I will put them into a binder as I did last year. Those who participated last year really enjoyed the experience. Laudate Singers have publicized this Exhibition in their publicity for this Season, so we have already had some good exposure. In addition all members of the Club will be able to purchase tickets to the concert at a reduced priced of $10.00 each. Please contact me by phone at 604-985-6570 or email: hjluccock@shaw.ca if you wish to participate in the show, or if you would like tickets.
