New members please note, and remember to sign in at each general meeting. This is a jurying for 2 shows and up to 3 paintings may be submitted. Paintings can be no larger than 40" in any dimension framed. All paintings must be framed and dry, and wired for hanging with wire ends taped down. All corner brackets to be tight on metal frames. Paintings can be unframed if they are done on a fully wrapped canvas with no staples showing on the sides and a minimum depth of 1.5" Up to 3 paintings, all completed within the past two years. Paintings previously hung in WVSC major shows are not eligible. Completed registration slip to be attached to back top right corner of each entry. Not-for-sale works You must designate not-for-sale works before the jurying. Not-forsale works can be juried but will not be hung at our shows. If for some reason, between the jurying and hanging, you change the work from for-sale to not-for-sale, that work will not be hung. The prices submitted for paintings at the jurying will be those used for the shows. No changes will be accommodated. Late paintings or substitutions will not be received for the show. Paintings must be original work, no copies from magazines, others photographs, the internet, etc. Paintings must not have been done during a workshop or with the assistance of an instructor.
