Secretary Correspondence: Deals with any mail. Membership Keeps member data (on website), handles attendance & fees. Some computer experience helpfuL Assistants are needed for Exhibitions, Treasurer, Publicity, Education and Workshops. - Job #2: Committees Heads and members: Look at pp i x at the front of your Roster. We could not offer jurying, shows or workshops without everyone taking on a volunteer position. We need you!! -- At the April meeting we posted 4 large lists of all Executive and Committees as they appear in the Roster. Members were asked to indicate YES/NO if they would continue in the same position next year, and to add their name to any volunteer position of interest These will be posted again at May meeting. Jean Bonvmi is showing her works in three places, at The Eileen Fong Gallery Artists' Co-op Second Floor, Tinsel Town/International Village, 88 West Pender Street Vancouver, at The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival in Van Dusen Gardens and at The Film Company for a movie being made in Vancouver. The showings are all through May 31. Several of our Guild artists will be showing in The North Vancouver Community Arts Council event "Art in the Garden" which will take place Sat-Sun May 27 & 28 in some thirty gardens spread through the North Shore. Larry introduced the critique format for the evening. Motion to adopt minutes of last meeting Daphne Mclean motioned and Elizabeth Hipson seconded. Reports a. Exhibitions Al Spence i. Park Royal Show reception plans and invitations Al has tried to simplify the receipt process for sales made at a show. The new receipt book makes three copies, one to the purchaser, one to accompany the money in the delivery envelope and the third copy will stay in the book for dub records. Jean Vanderley will be at the back at break with the duty roster and needs more places filled. Next Jurying to take place on Friday, May 12th at 6:00pm for drop-off of paintings. - - - -
