Dates are May through Sunday a 3 day workshop. This workshop is in response to comments from jurors in the past who have said we need to take more risks in our work and not play it so safe! Edith's forte is experimental mixed media and she has won several awards for her work and has been in numerous Federation of Canadian Artists show as well as through the Guild. Her workshops have received rave reviews. Her enthusiasm and spirit of adventure are contagious and there is sure to be lots of fun and new techniques to try. Her caution is that one needs to come to the workshop with an open mind and without expectations of finished, polished pieces of work. If you are interested in trying something new and breaking out of the box, we will be signing up for this workshop at the next meeting at 6:30 PM. Also, you may wish to drop Edith an email and she will try to send you an advance supplies list (it can be lengthy). This is no guarantee that you will get into the workshop but if you do, you'll be prepared. The full supply list will also be available at the time of registration.
