He will probably be invited back next year for another workshop. On April 22 and 23, Sue Hetherington will do a pastel workshop. A write-up will be in next newsletter along with her website. Frieda wifi be here at 6:30 at the next meeting for signing up for this workshop. Edith's May workshop (Outside the Box) may also be signed up for next month. The newsletter will clarify the signup process. Edith elaborated on the content of her mixed media workshop. Edith for Gord publicity Saturday, April 29 Laudate concert Heather Luccock Heather described the choral group to members Scandinavian spring is the name of the concert. $10 tickets (which is half price) members. Up to 20 paintings will be shown at the concert (150-200 people wifi be there to paintings). Business cards can be available by the artists and artist name will be printed in program. Ballots from Cap Mall reception are available for input and they will be put into the website to add to our contact list. -- Ride program Edith would like someone to manage a list that coordinates those who needs rides to those available to give rides. Meet with Edith at the break. - June Harmon brought samples of her work to the meeting tonight to show members what she does in anticipation of her June workshop. Larry encouraged members to contact Edith if they would like any news put into the newsletter. The past commodore of the West Van Yacht Club would like postcards (ink sketches) for members. Larry invited members to bring sketches to the May meeting. This may drum up publicity for the Guild members. Glen Madsen of WV cultural organization gave Edith information about upcoming workshops taking place in West Van (Music Box). Edith described these courses and encouraged members to check out this information on the board and in our newsletter. - Larry reminded members that the meeting is scheduled to go to 9:30 and if members need to leave, please use the side door so as not to disrupt the demonstrator. f. Anne McMahon membership There are 12 guests in attendance tonight no new members. 90 people in attendance tonight. Anne reminded members that there are many volunteer opportunities and she encouraged members, old and new, to consider how they can help. - Marguerite Mahy asked if the executive had come up with any new ideas for signing up for workshops. Larry told her that the discussion had been inconclusive and that it would be addressed again at the next executive meeting. Meeting adjourned.
