In addition, for those of you who receive the newsletter by e-mail you will also get an electronic version of the postcard that you can e-mail to others for the same reasons. If you can use more postcards, they will be available in a number of ways. The charge for them is $5 for 20 cards, and you can get them: · From Anne McMahon call her at 604-922-8249 and she will them to you · At the next general meeting on April 19 (which is part way through the Park Royal Show) · At the next Jurying session on April 29-30 While the first two cards have our next two shows on the back, the others will not, so you can fill them in as you see fit. -- We are also producing a number of signs to help publicize the Park Royal Show. They are weatherresistant and designed to be on stakes at locations like busy street corners, exits from the Upper Levels Highway and so forth. These will be ready at the Park Royal Show, so that when you drop your paintings off or come to volunteer to help set up the show, you can have one or more of the 50 signs we are making and put it up on the way home. Then when you pick up your paintings at the end of the show, you can return the signs as well. We are not sure what the results will be but this is a worth while experiment. The signs will be reusable so the cost will be spread over several shows.
