Tony has a Masters in Environmental Design (Architecture). He is an Honours graduate from Emily Carr and teaches design and fine art courses at Emily Carr, Kwantlen College, SFU City Program, TJBC, The Shadbolt Centre and The White Rock Gallery. Tony exhibits with the galleries attached to the above organizations. Over the past 10 years he has worked on numerous architectural projects including the Richmond Tony blends architectural Library and Cultural Centre and the David Lam Library at UBC. concepts and the human figure in his paintings. His award winning paintings have been exhibited in international shows including, The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, the Federation of Canadian Artists, and the Northwest Watercolor Society (NWWS). His paintings have been reproduced in a number of publications including International Artist's Magazine. Richard's paintings can be found in commercial galleries and corporate and private collections in Canada, the USA, Britain, Europe and Japan. In addition to painting, this artist is much in demand as a workshop facilitator, instructing in Canada, the USA and Europe. The workshop will consist of acrylic painting on paper suggested India paper or other heavy water colour paper.
