Sketch cEifucation ; May 2004 - Paè 3 / Joan cFraser 604-922-8038 Our next meeting on May 18 will be a Critique Night. Bring a painting that you are having trouble with, or perhaps one from the May 1 jurying that you did not understand why it had not been selected. We have held these critique sessions several times now, and they are always a valuable source of feedback and suggestions, and all done in a supportive environment. We are looking for a few people to lead the critique groups of 8 or so members. Call me if you can help. Thanks, Wor&sfiops cl3arbara C(ennan 604-988-2818 bclennanyahoo.conz As usual, Suzanne Northcott wowed us with her enthusiasm and talents at the April "Drawing and Watercolour Paintings for Travelers" workshop. Our final workshop for the season will be Don Farrell instructing on Composition from 9:30 3:30 on May 22 and 23 at Klee Wyck. We have one space available, and can always handle a few people on our waitlist in case of illness or cancellations. The cost is $50 for the weekend. What a bargain for a first class artist and instructor! - Each person will work with their favourite medium and subjects, and will be encouraged to abstract and experiment. No special supplies or materials are needed for this workshop. cPuô(icity Anne EMcMafion 604-922-8249 mcmahonalex@hotrnail.com Please update your biography for the Capilano Mall show.
