Please do what you can, not only to volunteer to work at the shows, but to advertise them and get all your friends and family out to see the wonderful work you have been producing. Note that all of the paintings in the Shows are on line on our website from a month prior to two weeks after the Show dates. This is our last newsletter for the year and my final message as President. It has been a very busy and rewarding 2 years and I have very much enjoyed working with such an enthusiastic and willing team of volunteers both on the executive and all the other committees. Together we have accomplished many changes and, I hope, enhanced the capabilities and profile of the Club. These things couldn't have been done without the ongoing support of you, the members, and the hard work and effort of all who worked to effect the changes as well as those who so readily adapted in their volunteer roles as the changes were implemented. Thank you all for making my job as easy and pleasant as it was. Thank you too for the many positive comments I personally and the executive have received. The appreciation is very gratifying and is warmly received. To new members I'd just like to share that it has been my experience that the more you put into the Club the more you will get out of it, the more people you will get to know and the more painting friends you will make. Not to mention that my work has improved considerably (in my, never to be humble, opinion) through the opportunities for continued education, jurying and critiques afforded by the Club. To the incoming executive and committees, thank you for volunteering and I will be happy to be of whatever assistance I can as you take us forward into 2005!
