The upcoming jurying on November 12/13 will determine the participants in the Capilano Mall and Park Royal Mall shows. In addition to these, we are working on securing a possible third location. Next year would normally be the alternate year for the Club to exhibit at the West Vancouver Memorial Library. Due to a recent change of administration there, we were not scheduled in automatically and consequently much effort is being made to rectify that. As well, there are other venues currently under discussion and investigation by the executive. The aim is to not simply identify more venues, but the best possible opportunities to display, and sell, our Members' artwork. Thanks to all the volunteers and committees who did such a fine job on the last Park Royal Exhibition. In all eight paintings were sold, including one which sold after the show ended. We are very pleased to have jurors with the experience and reputation of Robert Genn and Nancy O'Toole for this session. For new members the attached instructions may be a good way for you to learn about the Jurying process. Note also, that one of the activities at the Jurying is to take digital photographs of all of the paintings submitted, so that we can have an on-line version of the shows on our website for a month before and after the physical shows.
