S1'Iews(etter/We6site Larry Acfitemicñu& 604-926-9640 lachtem@shtzw.ca We now have about 36 members with artist websites online or in the process of getting there. The functions in the current website seem to be working well and meeting all or most of the objectives we originally had. The real test of the artist websites will be the visibility and communications that the site creates for our members, and eventually our Club. This visibility is already beginning to result in sales of paintings by our members. I am aware that Alannah Haynes, Helen Ott, Judy Bagshaw and I have all sold paintings as a direct result of having our work on the website. Many others have mentioned far that they have enjoyed being able to share their work with friends and family, both near and away. We would all be very interested in getting your stories of the experiences related to the website. Send me an e-mail and let me know what transpired. recently. Judy Bagshaw mentioned that she reconnected with a "long lost" cousin in Santa Barbara and website One of the upshots of this was that he bought one of her paintings by referring to the in then he bought a second. She felt so good about these successes that she bought a lottery ticket
