I want to thank Deb Taylor and Lorne Topham for helping me with the workshops in the past couple of weeks, and for the great work that the workshop attendees did during the workshops. We seem to have the first of the two workshops on editing images down to less than two hours, and the last group had their websites created and a number of images and bios loaded in well under three hours in the second workshop. To meet the demand and to fit the schedules of other members we will have another set of workshops to get members on line with their own websites in about 2 months time. Let me know if you are interested and I will add you to the list. All members with a website have been sent a copy of a Website Owner's Manual, which is a reference to allow them to continue to add to, change and improve their websites. It has also been suggested to them that they help publicize the upcoming Park Royal Show in their website galleries. We have need for a volunteer to help take photographs of paintings for REQUESTS FOR HELP our members. We are not looking for absolute experts, but someone with some experience, the interest and the equipment, to help members capture their paintings on film or digital camera. Call me as we have some current requests for this service. meetings Second, we want to use a movie camera and a projector to show the demos at our monthly on a large screen to help the audience and the artist.
