Binkie has been a WVSC member since 1976 and a Jessie Faunt award winner as well as regularly winning Juror's Choice and Honourable Mentions at our juryings for her wonderful portraiture. Binkie, you are in our thoughts and prayers and we miss your smiling face. Thanks to all who participated and helped in our last jurying. Thanks too to Jacquie Manning for her excellent jurors' feedback report at our last meeting. I received a number of very positive comments about the value of providing us with the jurors' comments. Congratulations to all whose paintings were accepted and for those who were disappointed perhaps the Critique night last month was helpful. I do hope we wifi see many of you at the upcoming Christmas Party on Dec. 10th. Helen Ott and her team have put in a lot of work to make this a really fun, surprising and enjoyable evening so do come along and bring your spouse or spice! There won't be another newsletter now until after the January meeting so don't forget to bring your logo contest entry to the January meeting so we can vote on them. JUT)? 604-925-4214 Thanks to all the able and enthusiastic volunteers who made our November 14-15 jurying another success. We had 226 paintings submitted by 67 artists this time. The 167 selected paintings wifi be shown at either the March, 2004 show at Park Royal or the May 2004 show at the Capilano Mall. Our jurors for this session were Judy Prendergast and Fred Yeats, and we thank them for their time and considerable efforts. The juror's awards for the two shows were as follows.
