To summarize, the website wifi have three main capabilities. · Virtual Show this means that the paintings that are selected for our shows, like those at Park Royal, can also be seen on the website. · Artist websites this wifi allow individual artists to have their own websites as part of the Club website. They will be able to load and change their personal information (bios, artist statements, contact information), a gallery of their current works, and a portfolio or archive, by themselves, and at a very attractive cost. this wifi provide the public, new and prospective members with · Club Information information about the Club, its activities and programs. It will also have a Members Only section where more internal materials, like announcements, meeting minutes or past newsletters, can be posted. To prepare us for the Virtual Show, we wifi be taldng digital photographs of all paintings at the November 14-15 jurying session. This will give us the images to load up the Virtual Show on the website, to support and complement upcoming shows. Thanks to the enthusiastic volunteers that have agreed to help us. - - We have had and have planned several papers in our Computers for Artists Series that strive to prepare our members for their new websites. We wifi also have a workshop for those who have signed up for a website to provide instruction on how to edit (i.e. fix or improve) images of your paintings that you wifi want to get ready for loading into your website. This workshop wifi be repeated several times during the last two weeks of November to accommodate schedules and the availability of computer facilities. There will be a small cost per attendee for the workshop in the order of $10 to pay for the facilities we wifi use. Details will be sent directly to all who have signed up for their own websites (currently 28 members). In early December, we will have a "website loading" workshop where you can bring your personal information and a number of digital images of your paintings, and get help in loading them onto our new website.
