participate in the spring jurying. Paintings will therefore not only be selected for the Ferry Building and Fall Park Royal shows, but they may be selected to appear at the Festival show as well. Please note that these dates are subject to final negotiation and scheduling with the venues, so they may change. As before, each member who has attended three meetings in the past year is eligible to submit up to four paintings to each jurying. See the attachments to this newsletter for all the details. One additional point, someone kindly picked up a painting for Rosemary Bonner after the recent Park Royal show. If you were that person, could you please call her to arrange for it to be returned to her? Thanks. Educatzon Critique Night #3 - Joan cEraser 604-922-8038 November Meeting We wifi be having another of our popular Critique Nights at our November meeting! The format will be similar to last time. The idea is to bring a painting about which you would like some feedback or suggestions. We wifi divide into small groups, each with a leader to facifitate discussion. The prior sessions got excellent reviews, as some very good suggestions were received. It is also a great way to get to know a few more members in the club and see all the interesting work going on. So bring those pictures, one per person, which caused you to wonder why they were not accepted by the jury, that you are struggling with, or to share a success or a "recovery" which could help others. This wifi be a learning experience for all, with an emphasis on positive and constructive feed back by everybody in the group. When you arrive with your painting, please pick up a number when you sign in and we will divide into groups after the coffee break. For those who do not bring a painting, you can just join a group. To streamline the process could we ask that during the coffee break, you take all of your personal belongings off your chairs, so that the chairs can be quickly and easily re-arranged.
