The Friends of the Library are a group of people who provide support for the Library and its services in a variety of ways. Currently numbering about 115 members, the Friends host the above--mentioned special events and receptions, deliver books to homebound patrons, operate a small gift shop in the Library from time to time and organize the semi--annual book sales. Robert has been interested in art and painting since childhood and has spent many years studying fine arts. Much of this exhibition will feature paintings from his travels through France, Hungary and Britain.
