The Board has been intent for some time on extending Sunday openings, at least through the month of May. It won't happen this year but perhaps in 1990 we can extend this most popular time for library access further into the Spring. And if demand still shows no sign of wavering, despite the increasing lure of gardening and golfing weather, who knows? IN THE GALLERY ... paintings in oils and watercolours by West Vancouver artist MAX BANBURY will be displayed in the gallery through the month of May. Mr. Banbury has painted since childhood, worked on display and theatre and for ten years before retiring was golf pro at McCleery Golf Course. Large and colourful abstracts will be exhibited in this show. All works are for sale.
