The Academy has two large theatre studios, a fiill-size dance studio and is the only facility of it's kind in the Lower Mainland. It offers on-going classes in acting and dance fiwm September to June and also a summer program. Artistic Director Peter Breck has been a professional actor for 40 years and is probably best known to most of us as Nick in TV's "Big Valley" for which he was nominated for an Emmy. He is joined on staff by his wife of 29 years, Diane. Dean Regan directs the Dance Department. Many of us will know of Dean's work as a choreographer and a performer in several Arts Club shows. Douglas Newell who rounds out the coaching staff has been with the Academy for 3 years and coaches the beginning actors. Diane says "The Breck Academy looks forward to becoming an active member of the North Shore Arts Community".
