Rental of original paintings by local artists is a popular monthly event for many North Shore residents. PICTURE LOAN is held on the second Thursday of each month between 6 and 8 p.m. in die 3rd Floor Gallery of Presentation House. The next date is June 8. Because diere is no Picture Loan in July and August, a picture rented in June can be kept for 3 months until September 14 at a cost of only two months' rental. A BARGAIN! The average rent is about $5 and there are some real beauties available. You can try something out and put the rent towards purchase. Even if you are not in the market to rent or buy, just come and browse. ENJOY T H E SHOW. Information 988-6844 We are still looking for extra volunteer help at Picture Loan once a month. This involves about one hour to set up at 4 p.m. and/or one hour to take down the show at 8 p.m. Some physical effort is needed in this team effort.
