Rental of original paintings by local artists is a popular monthly event for many North Shore residents. PICTURE LOAN is held on the second Thursday of each month between 6 and 8 p.m. in die 3rd Floor Gallery of Presentation House. The next date is June 8. Because diere is no Picture Loan in July and August, a picture rented in June can be kept for 3 months until September 14 at a cost of only two months' rental. A BARGAIN! The average rent is about $5 and there are some real beauties available. You can try something out and put the rent towards purchase.
