Community Arts Council Board, Alfons MuUer, the President of the N.S. Photographic Club, thanked the Board for the use of Klee Wyck and expressed the need for darkroom space. At the moment, they use members' darkrooms. The group started in 1984 and has grown to 96 members of all ages, with encouragement rather than competition the main aim of monthly judging. They sponsor an annual event, NORTH SHORE CHALLENGE which this year will have 28 club participants from B.C. and beyond and will be held at Robson Square Media Centre on April 15. Club fees are $25 with $10 for additional family members. They meet the first and third Wednesdays of each month to share experiences from organized field trips, evaluate photographs and hold workshops.
