Preserving the Post War Memories - continued from The Historical Society welcomes photos whether they are copies or originals. We will return all originals if requested. "Memories" can use good copies. Unfortunately, archives are only able to accept originals, not copies. We also request that place, names of people and date of the photo be included if possible. Please send such material to West Vancouver Historical Society 68o 17th Street West Vancouver, BC V7V 3T2 April 20, 1940 - Ella Begg getting a perm at Penny's Beauty Salon, 1340 Marine Drive -- 0251.WVA.PHO I am sure that many of you have similar memories and, hopefully, photos as well. A family photo at the beach can show the history of the park or beach. Search your memory banks and your photo albums. Those of you who came to West Van in more recent times have memories and photos of your experiences in the community. They are valuable. Share them with us. The Historical Society and the West Vancouver Archives will treasure your memories. Some we will print in "West Vancouver Memories". All will be preserved.
