Annual Barbecue Enjoyed By All Our Annual Summer Barbecue was held this year on saturday.August 24th. on the lawn of the Gertrude Lawson House. The weather threatened early but did not deter the approximately 100 members and friends who joined the throng for hamburgers, apple pie and various form of libation. This year's event was in honour of the Minions family, long time members and early pioneers of the community. Norma and her brother Ross were in attendance and talked about the early days. Late brother Mack was remembered in story.
