Throughout the book and in the appendix there are statistics on the medals won over the years. Each chapter is devoted to a single set of Games, highlighting notable events and significant participants. This is a beneficial reference which provides many answers on a topic not readily available in other sources. If you know what an aglet is, then you probably know all the parts of a shoe.
