During the construction period there will be minor distractions now and then, for instance when the front of the existing building is removed, sprinklers are strung into the west wing or the stained glass window is relocated in the fine arts alcove. There may be times when we have to close for a day or two, or restrict access to certain parts of the building for a limited time. If so we'll give as much advance warning as we can. During all this upheaval we'll be doing our best to provide the kind of library service you expect and rely on, and will be counting on your patience, understanding and sense of humour in return. Interesting times ahead! REFERENCE DEPARTMENT Examples of the diversity of research materials acquired by the Reference Department can be seen in a selection of new acquisitions. The Who's Who in Canadian Film and Television is a new directory containing a comprehensive listing of professionals such as directors, composers, designers, producers, writers, editors, etc, related to the Canadian film industry.
