Our 40th anniversary successfully celebrated in 1990, we look forward now to new milestones in the growth and development of the Memorial Library during the next 12 months, the better to serve your research and recreational reading needs. It promises to be an exciting and challenging period for all of us. Although the fund raising campaign organized by the Memorial Library Foundation hasn't quite reached its goal at the time of writing, it is sufficiently close to allow construction of the library expansion to get underway within the near future - possibly by late Spring. There's still time to share in the biggest private fund raising effort our community has ever mounted and place your name on the list of benefactors that will occupy a central location in the new addition. Simply give the campaign office a call at 926-2013. All donations are tax deductible and will help to ensure that the Memorial Library retains its unique character while providing sufficient space to meet the growing demands on it. •Now the New Year reviving old desires."
