Things will probably get worse before they get better, but by next April we'll be moving into our wonderful new Library, with much more room for children's story times and adult research, with space to house the entire collection including the 25,000 books currently in storage, with elevators and a quiet reading room, and lots more. Your patience and understanding during this period of upheaval on the way there are greatly appreciated. Once again this year the Memorial Library offers a haven from the bustle and haste of holiday preparations. In the days leading up to Christmas we'll provide coffee and seasonal music, the decorations and the special programs that make this such a pleasant time of year (especially for those of us who are still kids at heart). We'll be open until 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 24 and 31, and apart from being closed on Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's, will provide all services as usual.
