-19- its report :iovember 6th, 191^} it recommsiihea among other points, that the Pilotage Authorities of Vancouver, Victoria and d^naimo be amalgamated under the Minister of Marine and Fisneries and that the number of pilots working these districts be reduced to fifteen. It also recommendedâ- compulsory payment of pilotage aues. Despite a motion by the Vancouver Pilotage Authority that the recommendation of the Robb Royal Commission would be unv/orkable , by an Order in Council on September 10th, 1919, all British Columbia Pilotage Districts, with the exception of Rev/ Westminster, were amalgamated and on January 5th, 1920, the Authority held its final meeting, the mirxutes of which read;- ^^The services of the Vancouver Pilotage Commission having been dispensed with by the Dominion Government, Department of Marine, the Commissioners and Secretary exchanged Regrets and, as Commiss- 3 ioners and Secretary, bid. each other Goodbye’’ .
