As time passes memories fade and much of the history is inevitably lost, which, in my humble opinion is an irretrievable loss which can never be recovered. Cdito-i ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Summer Barbeque a Great Success The board of the Society, after reviewing falling attendance at our Christmas Party, decided to try a summer barbeque as a replacement. We were uncertain whether the switch would be a success. On Saturday, August 23rd the weather cooperated and the grounds of the Museum proved to be the perfect place. Yvonne Bower coordinated the event and succeeded in creating a festive atmosphere. Her planning and arrangements, including a singer, made for a great afternoon. Our heartiest congratulations to Yvonne for her superb efforts. The food was plentiful, with hamburgers, turkey hot dogs, vegetable burgers, salads and desserts. Wine was served along with a variety of non- alcoholic drinks. Two tents were erected to provide shade, folding chairs from the museum were available.
