Newsletter Mail-Out Report We hope that the vast majority of our members took advantage of the sell-addressed envelope con- tained in the November History-Onics mail-out, and hope also that many gave newsletter subscrip- tions as gifts. (“A gill that lasts†as the ads say.) We’ve tried various ways both of catching your attention to the need of membership renewal and of making it convenient to do the renewing. Last year or the year before we had an attractive re- newal form on a a finely designed coloured sheet which came as an insert in the newsletter. You had to supply your own envelope and send your re- newal along to us. As you saw in the November issue, all you had to do was supply a cheque and a stamp. The rest was done for you. rhere is only one time in a year that we wish to inflict heavy work on Joan Skipper, head of the membership committee. The more of you that re- new, the more new members we acquire, the harder Joan has to work. She welcomes the added bur- den of work. This kind, that is.
