Tlie Historical Society has contributed greatly to the documentation and celebration of West Vancouver’s past. Anotlier impressive quality I have noticed about Historical Society members is your vast knowledge of the people, places and events witliin this community, and more remarkably, you have retained it all! I hope you will continue to share your knowledge witli me as I continue familiarizing myself with this community and in turn, I hope to be able to facilitate your needs in your quest to explore and share the past. Please feel free to drop by the Archives any time. I look forward to working witli all of you. Yau Min Chong Barbara Milacek Welters PHOTO: Greg Robinson, WVMA This winter the Museum is mounting the following exhibition: Len Norris: A Retrospective. You may recall Len Norris, as a resident of West Vancouver, who drew editorial cartoons for the Vancouver Sun from 1950 to 1988. He is widely acknowledged as one of Canada’s most important and influential cartoonists, in part many of his whim- sical drawings poking good-natured fun at his neigh- bours and fellow citizens. Come out and see this wonderful retrospective.
