Exciting new changes are being implemented this year at Community Day 2002 due to extensive renovation work at the West Van Rec, Centre. This year the route has been reversed and will now BEGIN at the Rec. Centre at Marine and 22nd Street and END at Ambleside Park, where the Community Day festivities will take place. Those of you who fondly remember the MAY DAY celebrations in the "good old days" will feel right at home. We are all very excited about tlie changes to the parade route and the community day festivities in general. Everyone is working to make the outdoor event fun filled with lots of great treats for all ages. The City of North Vancouver is second in this connection. Burnaby third. District of North Vancouver fourth, and the City of Vancouver lags badly in fifth place.
