The Inglewood building opened in December, 1927. To celebrate this event the school was to have a massive party on May 2 and 3, 2003. Unfortunately, the delay in the construction of the Kay Meek Cenu'e for the Performing Arts that is to be integrated as part of the present school has necessitated a year postponement in this important event. It was decided by the planning com- mittee, well represented by members of the Historical Society, that to try and hold a party when the eastern half of the building would be under construction and much of the parking would be unavailable would be very difficult. As well, the current student involvement in tlie celebration would mainly be in tlie iuea of enteriainmeni. A new Kay Meek Centre would make this a true highlight of the event. So take a breather but start to look forward to the Spring of 2004 for the party of all time - the 75 -i-l Birthday Ba.sh of West Van High. *♦****♦♦!•:*♦**** The editor would like to thank all who have given their support to the success of th<?
