EXECUTIVE REPORT: By: Dave Barker Here it is Spring again - the daffodils and crocus are blooming, the fruit trees are in bud, and the Historical Society Directors are beginning to think of next year already. We have only two general meetings left before the summer break - die first is coming up this month. Don’t miss out on this interesting talk by Doreen Armitage on her new book "Burrard Inlet: A History". Tlie membership of the Historical Society can help in many ways: * Attend the bi-monthly meetings and talks. Bring a friend. * Encourage a friend or family member to join the Historical Society * Join the Board, New blood and fresh ideas are always welcome and impor- tant to the health of an organization. The only obligation is one evening a month. And Board meetings are fun. * Send us interesting memories and tidbits for "History-Onics". * Give us ideas for interesting speakers and/or topics for our general meetings. * Make sure you renew your membership each year. This is the most impor- tant thing that you can do for the West Vancouver Historical Society, Without you it will not exist. See you at the Seniors' Centre on the 27th.
