The Board of Directors of the West Vancouver Historical Society hopes that it was an enjoyable one for you in spite of our ratlier Spring-like weather. The Board is looking forward to another active year. We would like to solicit the active support of the Society's membership in three ways: * We encourage you to participate in the production of our newsletter, History-Onics. We would like you to submit articles for inclusion - whether they are a memory of West Vancouver or something of liistorical interest on a wider basis. They do not need to be long; a paragraph or two would be most welcome. A picture would be of interest and will be returned. We want History-Onics to be a must-read in your home. * We would like suggestions for speakers and topics at our bimonthly general meetings. Remember that the Society is your Society and should reflect its members’ interests. If you know of someone who would like to give a talk, drop us a line with his or her name and phone number. If you have a topic you would like to see presented, send us your idea and we will try to find a speaker. If we are to make these meetings even more enjoyable and informative, we need the help of die memberhsip. And remember, the topics do not need to be confined to the history of West Vancouver. * Let us know how we are doing.
