Do you think those memories should be captured before they disappear? Then you can help the West Vancouver Oral History Project. A team of volunteers interview and tape record the reminiscences and family histories of West Vancouverites. These interviews give a rich and vivid description of life in West Vancouver and often provide information not available anywhere else. These oral histories are then kept in the archives where they are preserved for future generations to access. But more volunteers are needed to help capture the oral history of West Vancouver. If you have the time and want to interview someone you know, please contact David Wardle at the West Vancouver Museum and Archives (925-7295). Advice will be given on how to conduct an interview, technical considerations and other pointers to help your interview.
