I am a resident of West Vancouver, and my children attend school here, so I have a special interest in developing and delivering interesting, enjoyable and relevant programmes to the students in our community. I am originally from Ontario, where I attended the University of Toronto and received my BA., B.Ed., and M. Ed. I have taught at the secondary and college levels in Ontario and in Vancouver. This fall we will be offering exciting education programmes at the Museum & Archives, including our FIREI programme. The House That Gertrude Built, and in November, a Survey programme sure to be of interest to math and science students of all ages! Our ever-popular Road Show will roll out to local schools again with lots of interesting local artifacts to help students discover West Vancouver’s history in a fun, informal and interactive way. It’s going to be a great fall! If you enjoy working with students and would like to volunteer to help out with our education programme, please give me a call at 925-7295. I’d love to hear from you!
